Published by Imperial Health Charity in partnership with CCA Galleries and Worton Hall Studios to celebrate the 70th anniversary of one of the nation's most loved institutions, the NHS. On 5th July 2018, seven leading international artists were asked by Imperial Health Charity to produce limited edition prints to raise funds to support some of London's busiest hospitals.
The seven artists representing seven decades are Peter Blake, Jeremy Deller, Tom Hammick, Mona Hatoum, David Mach, Elizabeth Magill and Chris Orr.
The prints that comprise this portfolio are a joyous selection of images exploring all print mediums, different techniques and styles within the realms of printmaking, from wonderful experimentations with colour and expressive mark making, to collages and exciting uses of found imagery. Each print has been made in an edition of 70 of which 10 prints will be gifted to London hospitals. The exhibition of seven prints will tour St. Mary's, Charing Cross and Hammersmith hospitals during 2018.
