‘World Tour: Paris- Parade’ - A signed, limited edition 24 colour silkscreen print with glosses and glazes by British pop art legend Sir Peter Blake. Available individually or as part of the set of ten World Tour images.
Paris exudes a certain fascination for Blake, as a city he has visited on many occasions. Here he revisits the place de la concorde at some point in the early 20th century. The Parisian square slumbers gently in the delicate muted tones of the sunset behind it, whilst in the foreground a surreal parade is taking place. Blake combines historical and geographically-diverse figures to create an unexpected and comedic composition.
