As a wrestling fan since childhood, Blake continues to explore the wrestler persona - a major theme that featured in his work throughout his career. The artist enjoys combining elements of reality with fictional details when inventing each wrestler. Blake uses celebrity faces to implicate the fame of his characters and allude towards their personality and background, while the flags represent where they are from.
