CCA Galleries Emerging Artist Award 2025 - 2026

 

To mark over half a century of fine art retailing and limited edition print publishing, CCA Galleries is proud to announce the launch of the first-ever CCA Galleries Emerging Artist Awards. This landmark initiative celebrates the next generation of artistic talent and offers emerging artists an opportunity to develop their practice with one of the UK’s most respected fine art publishers.
 
Founded to recognise innovation, creativity, and craftsmanship, the CCA Emerging Artist Awards 2026 will award three cash prizes, each accompanied by the potential for fine art print publication in collaboration with Worton Hall Print Studios.

1st Prize: £2,500 with option of publication print edition
2nd Prize: £1,500 with option of publication print edition
3rd Prize: £1,000 with option of publication print edition

 Application Fees
  • £20.00 per artwork
  • £10.00 per artwork for students in full-time education (minimum 20 hours per week), subject to satisfactory proof and at the sole discretion of CCA Galleries.

 

All artists must submit a completed application form, pay the appropriate fee, and upload their artwork images by the application deadline in order to be considered.Please note the application fees are non-refundable. 

 

Judging Panel

The judging panel, composed of distinguished figures from across the contemporary art world, will be announced in January 2026.

 Terms, Conditions and Advice

1. The application deadline is 16 January 2026.

 

2. All artists may submit up to five (5) works of art for consideration by the judges.

 

3. All artists must submit a completed application form, pay a non-refundable application fee of £20.00 per artwork and submit their images by the application deadline in order to be considered. Students' fee may be reduced to £10.00 per artwork on the provision of proof of being in full time education (a minimum of 20 hours per week) to CCA Galleries’ satisfaction and at their sole discretion.

5. The application fee is payable via a link which will be provided via email from the CCA office, following submission of your application.

 

6. You will be notified if your artwork has been shortlisted for each stage of the competition.

 

7. The judges' decision is final. They may decide to show a number, just one or none of your pieces of work.

 

8. Submissions are welcome of all visual art forms including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramic, film, architecture, and design. We cannot show food or work that might put other artwork, personnel or the gallery at risk; for example, electrical items which do not have a current PAT certificate.

 

9. CCA Galleries will provide the artist with a consignment agreement which must be signed before the artist’s work is hung and exhibited.

 

10. Final stage artists will be invited to display their work in the Long Gallery, CCA Galleries Studio, Tilford, Surrey from 1 March 2026.

 

11. All selected work should be delivered to the gallery between 2nd and 20th February 2026 inclusive.

 

12. All work submitted for hanging in the gallery must be properly framed and fitted with D-rings for hanging. These should be fitted towards the top of the vertical sides to avoid the picture leaning outwards when hung.

 

13. CCA Galleries are happy to advise exhibiting artists on pricing and framing.

 

14. All exhibited work will be hung, lit and curated by the selection panel.

 

15. All exhibited work will be offered for sale. The retail price should include 50% gallery commission and 20% VAT where the artist is VAT registered. 

 

16. The event will be publicised in local press, social media, and to the CCA Galleries, Worton Hall Studios and Enter Gallery community. Artists are encouraged to publicise the event and to invite their collectors, friends and family.
