‘Wedded Bliss’ – A signed, limited edition silkscreen print by Chinese contemporary artist Jacky Tsai, with a unique augmented reality feature. Printed at Coriander Studio, published by CCA Galleries.
‘Wedded Bliss’ is one of two prints Tsai has created with CCA Galleries. This 22 coloured print fuses East with West, dazzled with Westernized pop iconography as well as symbolic references from traditional Eastern art and literature. These elements are brought together and translated into the artist’s recognisable graphic style to form a narrative. The artwork is inspired by and named after one of the four chapters in the autobiography ‘Six Records of Floating Life’ by the 18th century Chinese writer Shen Fu. ‘Wedded Bliss’ tells the story of a young Chinese girl who looks into her bedroom mirror and sees herself in a future life.
This limited-edition print includes the option to view the print using augmented reality.
