Israeli artist Guy Yanai (b. 1977 in Haifa, Israel) grew up in Boston and in 1996 attended Parsons School of Design in New York and Pont Aven School of Art in France. In 1997 he went to the New York Studio School, and in 2000 received an MFA from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. Yanai has had numerous solo exhibitions worldwide, including Niels Kantor Gallery (Beverley Hills), Praz-Delavallade (Paris & Los Angeles), Aran Cravey Gallery (Los Angeles), Miles McEnery Gallery (New York), Galerie Conrads (Dusseldorf), Flatland Gallery (Amsterdam), The Velan Centre for Contemporary Art (Turin), Haifa Museum of Art (Haifa), and amongst many more. His work has also featured in a broad range of international group exhibitions, including Mindy Solomon Gallery (Miami), La Montagne Gallery (Boston), Galerie Deroullion (Paris & Los Angeles), Maho Kubota Gallery (Toyko), Flatland Gallery (Amsterdam), Double V Gallery (Marseille), Portland Place (London), The Pill Gallery (Istanbul), Tristian Koenig Gallery (Australia), to name but a few. Widely collected, Yanai’s artworks are held by the Tel-Aviv Museum of Art (Tel-Aviv), Holtz Collection (New York), Drake Collection (Netherlands), and the Anita Zabludowicz Collection (London).
