'Encompass' - Signed, limited edition silkscreen print by Danny Rolph. Printed at Coriander Studio, published by CCA Galleries. 

Taking inspiration from his travels and memories of Mauritius, 'Encompass' joins 'Encounter' and 'Endeavour' and is available in an edition size of 30 prints. Rolph is careful and deliberate with his choice of colours. The blended pink and yellow background represents the exotic Mauritian sunrises, with the black gesturing to a topographical map of the island. The five elements in vibrant yellow, pink, pale turquoise, silver and white, echo the shapes he drew on the island; with pink, yellow and white mirroring the ground and a sudden slice of silver bringing the eye back into the composition. A gentle wisp of pale turquoise billows across the top like a silk scarf or a tropical bird lightly 'kissing' the dominant shape.

'Encompass' completes the series perfectly, complimenting his previously considered compositions and choice of layered textures and glazes in 'Encounter' and 'Endeavour'. Rolph considers this print a summary of his time and experiences spent on the island.
