'The Everyday Sublime' - A signed, limited edition mixed media with screen print and diamond dust by Bonnie & Clyde.
Contemporary British artist Bonnie and Clyde is known for creating richly layered works that combine photography, paint, collage and print into dreamlike compositions exploring beauty, memory and human connection.
In The Everyday Sublime, the artist turns her attention toward Barcelona and the enduring presence of the Sagrada Familia - a structure that has remained in construction for over 140 years. Rather than portraying the landmark in full, the piece focuses on a fragment mid-construction: raw, unfinished and still reaching upward. Around it, the city unfolds.
Painted textures, collage elements, repeating patterns and fleeting details evoke the atmosphere of Barcelona - warm pavements, movement, colour and light distilled into emotion.
Diamond dust and high-gloss elements move across the surface of the work, catching and reflecting light as the viewer shifts perspective, creating a sense of constant movement and luminosity. These changing surfaces mirror the evolving nature of the Sagrada Familia itself - always becoming, never static.
At its core, The Everyday Sublime is a meditation on joy, craftsmanship and the deeply human desire to create something lasting. It reflects on the beauty that exists within slowness, devotion and attention - moments of awe that interrupt everyday life and remind us what it means to feel fully alive.
This limited edition artwork is signed and numbered by the artist.
Printed at Coriander Studios, published by CCA Galleries.
