Capturing the tang in the air, the intensity of the sky and the expanse of the horizon, 'Seafence' is an elongated format that is unusual amongst Rae’s print oeuvre. Rae’s abstracted layers and over-scores and scratches give the surface great depth and texture, creating a finely balanced composition that is exuberant and fresh.
