This pretty jewel-like still life was one of Fraser's favourite silkscreen works. He handles the subject matter in a beautiful way, without falling into sentiment or kitschness. The blue flowers stand in contrast to the red background, Fraser's use of black for the foliage gives the image an unusually powerful feeling for a flower picture.
