'Launch Wash San Michele' is the viewpoint from being on the back of a boat as it speeds away from San Michele in Venice. This unusual viewpoint allows Fraser to examine the turbulent path in the water left by the boat, the movement of which stands in contrast with the unchanging nature of the stones of Venice.
